New V30 firmware out for N95 8GB! Including Nokia’s new music service
September 4, 2008 – 15:41
Today brings us the good news that the much rumoured V30 firmware has finally landed for the Nokia N95 8GB. The update is not yet available on NSU, you can currently only get it by going to your local service centre OR by downloading the firmware HERE and then loading it onto your N95 with Phoenix. V30 is apparently to be made widely available on NSU sometime in the next 2 weeks.
Comes with Music
Probably the most interesting news of the new firmware is the “Comes with music” integration. This new Nokia music service allows users to download as much music as they like with a monthly subscription. The addition of the comes with music service is remarkable because the service hasn’t even been launched yet. Even better, the only thing known about it is that the service should be available in the UK later this year, probably December.
